Just outside the famous wine region of Bordeaux and the Archachon Bassin and just 15 minutes from the city centre is the stylish Pullman Bordeaux Aquitania.

This hotel, formerly a Sofitel, was fully renovated in 2006 and offers 166 rooms and suites. All rooms are non-smoking and 4 rooms have been adapted for people with disabilities.

L’Aquitania, the hotel’s restaurant, features gourmet French cuisine with local and regional specialties. There is also the Bar de l’Aquitania that serves a wide variety of whiskies, cocktails and aperitifs.

Also available for guests is a free outdoor private car park with direct access to the Barriere Casino and Convention Centre.

It was for only one night and our experience was very good, once we found it ! We dined in the restaurant and I very much enjoyed my meal.

The room was well sized.

The restaurant in the hotel was massively over priced for the quality of the food. Non smoking room still reaked of cigarettes. Cab from hotel to airport was €45.00 when we travelled a similar distance from the train station to the hotel for €20.00

Situated reasonably close to Bordeaux Centre with good links via bus and tram.

Breakfast should be incorporated on a b&b basis, as it currently stands it appears very expensive. The was not entertainment and the price for the room associated with other Hotels of this class generally do rpovide this.

the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The food in the restaurant is probably the best i've tasted. it's probably a bit out of town but there is a good bus service. definately recommend this hotel.

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we were looked after extremely well. The restaurant was excellent , all the staff were very attentive and I would recommend the hotel.
