Note that the vacation homes are located in various areas around the Disney Area. Guests must check in at the offices of American Vacation Homes located five miles from Downtown Disney, then travel to their vacation home, located within a 20-mile radius of Walt Disney World Resort.
Check in instructions:
Office hours are Monday-Saturday from 8:30 AM-7 PM. Guests arriving after 7 PM or on Sunday will find a packet in the lock box, located at the office entrance. To open box press II and IV at the same time, release, press III, then turn the silver latch to right and open the door at the same time while holding the silver latch.
Guests must report to the office on the next working day to complete registration.
All vacation home properties offer full kitchens with cookware and dinnerware.
American Vacation Homes and villas are located in communities close to supermarkets and to fast-food and fine-dining restaurants.
The 250 American Vacation Homes and villas are located within a 20-mile radius of Walt Disney World. Homes are individually owned and decorated. Other amenities include: separate sitting areas; washers and dryers; and private, screened pools (homes) or community pools (villas). All homes have fresh linens and towels, and include private garages.
There are private, screened pools in the vacation homes; guests in villas enjoy use of a community pool.
American Vacation Homes provides a 24-hour emergency hot-line for guests.
What to expect: American Vacation Homes and villas, popular with families are individually owned and furnished and are located in attractive, landscaped communities within a 20-mile radius of Walt Disney World Resort. Guests check in at the American Vacation Homes office, five miles from Downtown Disney, and receive detailed directions to their home or villa. Guest must be able to get to the vacation home by their own transportation - no shuttle available!
A mandatory cleaning fee of USD 75 plus tax will be charged on departure for stays of less than five nights.A security deposit of USD 250 on a credit card or USD 1,000 in cash will be required at check-in for incidental charges. Deposits will be returned 30 days after departure if damages or losses did not occur. All fees are subject to change.
Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on hotel policy.
Rollaway beds and cribs (infant beds) may be available and should be requested at the time of booking; fees may apply.
