The place is good for travelling as it's in the central of the downtown of sfo, but it's pretty old and without aircondition

The water was hot. The radiator was sufficiently warm to dry wet socks and gloves. The wireless internet connection was good.

In the mornings, the only elevator was monopolized by the cleaning staff, necessitating walking up and down seven flights. The smell in the rooms and the hallways was musty and had a stale smoke smell. The doors and walls seriously needed painting. The blankets had holes in them.

The beds and pillows were wondefully comfortable. The desk staff (manned 24hrs/day) were all very nice and knowledgable. There was always lots of hot water available. The bathrooms were very well kept up.

Dead bolt malfunctioned and I was trapped in my room. I had to call the front desk to have someone come fix the door so I could get out. Very loud trash pickup under my window at 5:30am
