The Hotel Astoria is situated in the heart of Rapallo, a charming little town of the Italian Riviera,
very close to Portofino and not far from 5 Terre,
a Liberty Villa completely renewed for giving the best comfort in a familiar, yet refined and elegant atmosphere. The hotel accomodates 22 rooms and 2 meeting rooms for 2 to 40 people. An ideal place to spend an unforgettable holiday in a homely atmosphere or host your business meetings.

The Hotel Astoria is situated in the heart of Rapallo, delightful centre in well-known Riviera Ligure, nearby Portofino, Genoa and Cinque Terre.
The owners, Family Ciana, with their 5-generations experience, have recently taken the management over.
The building is an elegant Villa in Liberty Style right by the sea, completely renewed to offer the Guests every comforts in a friendly but sophisticated setting.
Close to Golf Course, Tennis Club, Imbarcadero for boats and ferries, Tourist Port with charter, Diving Centre and several bathing establishments.
An ideal location, both for a sport holiday rich of excursions or a relaxing and easy vacation.

Food & beverage

Buffet breakfast from 7,30 am to 10,30 am.
A wide variety of sweet things and savoury foods will make you start the day with right energy quantity.
And don’t forget to taste well-known “focaccia alla Genovese”.
If requested and without any extra it is possible to have breakfast in room.

The Hotel Astoria offers 22 elegant and comfortable rooms: independent conditioning, TV Sat, direct phone with alarm service, PC connection, mini-bar, safe-box, private facilities with tub and/or shower, hair-dryer.

The people at the reception desk were very nice

Contrary to the images, a road runs next to the hotel, which makes the place rather noisy. The hot water capacity was sometimes too small to take a shower (not enough pressure). The windows in front of the breakfast room were in desperate need of cleaning.

Great location with potential views of the harbor from some rooms. Two rooms on the east side of the 1st floor have access to a large outdoor terrace with two sets of tables and chairs. This was a great place to sit outside during our stay.

Staff had somewhat limited English skills. This was more of an issue at this hotel than other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Street outside the hotel was somewhat noisy at night.

Les 4 étoiles ne correspondent pas au niveau réel de l'hôtel, c'est plutôt un 3 étoiles amélioré, petit déjeuné compris mais moyen, par contre vue imprenable sur la baie de la fenêtre de la chambre.

Het uitzicht en de vriendelijke mensen

De badkamer was werkelijk in een vreselijke conditie. Ook was het op de vloer wel schoon, maar overal bovenop lag een dikke laag stof.... Erg jammer, want er was wel tijd en energie aan de rest van de uitstraling van de kamer besteed.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, alles zu Fuss erreichbar, Schiffsstation, Bahnhof, Shoppingarea und Restaurants. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, war einfach wunderschön. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers und der Teppichboden etwas altmodisch.
