The main receptionist [male] was exceptionally kind to me as I had difficulties on account of the fact that my husband was unable to leave home.

I was told the hotel was near the station but found it was a 10 Euro taxi ride away

We had dinner in the restaurant and it was bizarre. Something had gone wrong but we were not told what it was. Very limited choice indeed.

Room was comfortable and easily accessible.

The evening staff was not particularly helpful. The restaurant was closed and they made no effort to help me find another one even though something was available around the corner I found on my own.

Clean room, video on demand

Video on demand has no rewind and fast forward. Just CNN and Eurosport in English. Access to video on demand cost 20€

The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was really, really hot. Couldn't get it to cool down. The hotel directed us to an absolutely wonderful restaraunt, Don Giovani's. It was one of our best meals in Italy.

Don't walk to Don Giovani's. This is a pretty dicey area. The fountain across the street had some questionable characters hanging out all night.
