Excellent position high on the cliff for a wonderful view. The bus service down to town was fairly regular although was sometimes standing room only. Good meal in the dining room in the evening.

Staff had the end of season feel - I stood at the bar for a few minutes with staff coming and going and not being acknowleged - I understand they were busy but I felt as if I was simply being ignored. Isolated incident though in general the staff were good.

By far the largest Hotel we stayed at during our 16 night stay in Italy. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a Junior Suite for our honeymoon which was amazing. I did manage to sneak a peak at a standard and even that was about twice the size as all of our other rooms. enjoyed big room and balcony -availability for parking car a big asset and hotel coach between hotel and amalfi a very necessary facility

hotel decor needs updating with brighter colours sun loungers rather than deck chairs on room balcony and pool necessary surprised for four star rated hotel to have plastic glasses and worn towels in the room.

Kataya was very helpful. View was terrific. Room was clean.

Getting into amalfi town was difficult as hotel is approximately 2 miles above and reached only by a steep and curving road. Hotel is visited by an older (over 50) clientele.

The room and bathroom was nice and spacious, and very clean. The view was fantastic and the staff extremely friendly. The hotel had a very frequent shuttle bus service to the private beach and to downtown Amalfi. It is a very calm place, not a lot of activities at the hotel. The majority of the guests were older people.

The pool is small and the space around the pool was also very small. The food was not that good. You can't go anywhere walking, you either take the shuttle bus or the city bus to go to other towns.

The staff were extremely curtious and the location of the rooms have a magnificent view of the ocean and Amalfi below.

For the breakfast buffet a variety of fresh fruits would compliment the rest of the buffet especially when the fruits are in season.

The views from the hotel were exceptional. Everyone was very helpful.

The hotel was rather isolated, you rely on the courtesy bus which was rather irregular and sometimes overcrowded

The room was always cleaned, the staff was very pleasant, food excellent, and the view from our rooms was great. Annie, at the front desk, was particularly very helpful.

The outside of the hotel needed new paint in some areas. That was disappointing to see upon arrival.
