The "Sharon house" is situated in the historical heart of Amalfi, yet very near to the sea. Even if in a central position, it offers a serene, calm and silent atmosphere. "Sharon house" is comfortable, boasts a colourful design and rich in well harmonized details. The hotel is easly reachable from the main street. It' s on the first floor of an old building and accessible via a lift. "Sharon house" offers pretty and comfortable rooms, furnished in modern style, to make your stay in Amalfi unforgettable.

Recently renewed, the “SHARON HOUSE” offers pretty and comfortable rooms, furnished in modern style, with a wide array of lively colours.
Every room has all comforts to make a stay at the “Sharon House” unforgettable like: air conditioning (or heating), direct ISDN phone and PC socket, private bathroom with large shower and /or Jacuzzi bath tube.

A Junior Suite is also available with a small drawing room, satellite LCD TV set and jacuzzi bath tube.

All the rooms have a window with view on the characteristic narrow streets of Amalfi and a beautiful private garden, or a view on a small square adorned by a little old church.

Area information

The origins of Amalfi can be traced back to the Roman Empire. Between the tenth and the eleventh century, it became a great commercial and military power in the Tyrrhenian sea; the city coined its own money, the "Tarì", and established the first international navigation code "Thabulae De Amalphia".
Amalfi opened embassies and colonies in many countries, such as in Byzantium, Alexandria in Egypt and Tunis. In Jerusalem, it founded a large hospital, run by what was later to become the Order of the Knights of Malta.
But in the twelth century, the decline of Amalfi set in after being sacked by the competing city of Pisa. Only a small scale manifacturing activity survived...

Important information

Families with children between 3 and 12 years have to communicate the presence of children to the hotel. Families who do not inform the hotel will have to pay the extra charge for the extra bed.
Children older than 12 and adults cannot ask for en extra bed.
Adults accompanied by a child older than 12 or 3 adults have to book a triple room.

Fantastic Location right in the heart of Amalfi. Our room was off the main street so quiet. Superb breakfast provided with lots of nice Italian food in the buffet. Our children loved the decor and it was all very clean and seemed to be all new fitout

As a family of 5 a bit squished as the 3 kids had to share two single beds joined together, but we were charged an extra 15 euro for the extra child but they did not get their own bed (ie booking was for a 4 person room)

Convenient to entre of Amalfi. The Quadruple room was very well laid out the kids loved it. The bags were transported from the garage for us and collected on morning we were leaving.

Location, in the middle of the city. Cleanliness. Helpful and friendly staff. Quiet despite location near by the crowded main road. We think value wasn't the best, but we were there in the middle of august and there were very few cheap alternatives.

Bigger and better lift. Place to sit outside (rooftop).

Habitación moderna y muy limpia.Muy céntrico.

Es carísimo para lo que ofrece.Desayuno regular,solo bollería.No hay piscina. ¡¡¡Cobran 30 € extras si vas con un niño pequeño aunque duerma en la misma cama de los padres y no utlilize el desayuno del hotel, no informan de ésto en la reserva!!! Bed and breakfast very expensive.

posizione centralissima (in pratica accanto al Duomo), stanze molto accoglienti, curate e pulite, cortesia dello staff

purtroppo, vista la posizione centrale, almeno la nostra camera (che affacciava su una piazzetta) era un pò rumorosa (causa anche vicini di camera poco educati)
