This long-established, family-run hotel is open from March to November, and offers numerous opportunities to enjoy leisure and sports activities in stunning surroundings.
All of the hotel’s rooms have their own balcony, and many overlook the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the east coast of Messina. After enjoying the varied Sicilian cuisine in one of a range of locations, why not wander down to hotel’s private beach, located less than 100 steps from the hotel, and enjoy a drink from the beach-bar whilst relaxing on the stone terrace?
It is not only the beautiful location that will make your stay special: the hotel has a professional reputation as an ideal party location for family festivities, including weddings and Holy Communions, and for business events.
The hotel offers an extensive range of Sicilian and local cuisine in a variety of locations. The Federico II dining-hall overlooks Sicily's coastline and there is also the idyllic Corradino restaurant, with its seaview terrace.
Each room is tastefully decorated in a typically Mediterranean style. Almost every room has a far-reaching view over the Mediterranean Sea and the east coast of Messina.
Each room offers a double bed and an additional single bed.
Caldura Bay is situated East of Cefalù, on Sicily's northern coast. It is a beautiful area, unspoilt by human influence, and a treasure to explore. It consists of rocks, hidden bays, beaches and of course, the sea. At the top you will also find an old Normanic tower.

The beach
Hotel looks like it hasn't had any attention for years. My room was unclean, blood stains on sheets and dripping air-con that didn't really work. Staff were unhelpful especially the breakfast staff. The 10 Euro per person additional cost for a stale croissant and bad coffee was excessive. The owners of this hotel really need to consider some basics as the position is good.

The food and staff in the restaurant were excellent.
The trek to the beach was not good. Not enough bar staff. The rooms are
fairly basic and the air conditioning poor. If you don't get down to
breakfast before 09:00 they run out of eggs etc.
