Set in Rapallo, an area of outstanding natural beauty, the hotel occupies a privileged position within easy reach of wonderful places like Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Camogli and Cinque Terre.

Located 25 Km east of Genoa, Rapallo is also known as The pearl of Tigullio due to its position between Portofino and the Cinque Terre. A desired destination throughout all seasons, during your stay you can enjoy both historical and natural sites.

The beach is at 300 metres from the hotel, and you will be able spend lazy days lying under the sun or dedicate yourself to snorkelling, water sky or scuba diving to explore the numerous wrecks lying on the bay's variegated seabed.

Hotel Canali strategic allocation allows you to have peace in your room, in the private park or the nearby Parco Casale when you want to relax and, at the same time, lets you reach boat, train and bus routes.

Rapallo, named the pearl of Tigullio because it is set between Portofino and Cinque Terre, with its amazing nature, has always been a desirable year-round holiday resort. Rapallo is located just 25 kilometres east of Genoa, a maritime town with an historic city centre, a well-known port and the largest aquarium in Europe.

150 km north from Rapallo is Milan, metropolis of international fashion.

If you want to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of our hotel you can also visit Canali Park and Casale Park. The beach is situated only 300 metres from the hotel, where you can have a lazy day's sun-bathing or snorkelling, water skiing, and scuba diving to admire the wrecks on the seabed.

Nice room, good ambience, not too far from the waterfront, but still quiet, nice staff and owner.

Bathroom needs renovating badly, it takes almost 10 minutes to get any hot water and the shower was not good at all, low waterpressure, non-efficient fan to get that "special" smell out when done.

Usual plumbing faults - waste drains not working properly on shower and bath - probably long-standing faults. Did not seem too keen to resolve these.

We were robbed upon arrival on the train from Genoa Airport. Staff are excellent and excellent. Friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Restaurant excellent.

No swimming pool. They advertise they have Turkish Baths. Not true. They do have a Sauna. Transfer from Genoa is difficult, a rip off in terms of transfer costs in a taxi.

The suite was marvelous.

I was told the evening meal was included, it wasnt, it was tagged onto my bill. I felt as thought we were pressured into eating there as opposed to exploring the town and finding a restaurant. The food was excellent though.

Lovely hotel very stylish and the restaurant food was great. They caterered for Coeliacs so I really enjoyed the fresh bread, pasta and sweet tarts for breakfast.

Our sheets were not changed daily which was a bit disappointing. Also there was a light outside our bedroom which stayed on all night so the room was too bright during the night. It was a little far out of the town.

The Hotel Canali was a great hotel and very good value for the money. We stayed on the ground floor which had recently been renovated (Room 2). Very nice with couch and sitting area. Short walk to boat to go to Portofino. Would recommend this hotel.

We liked everything!

Parking is very limited, so guests need to be prepared to walk to the hotel. They had maybe 8-10 spots were people could park. We got very lucky and found a spot. Walking very far with luggage would have been very difficult for my husband who has a disability.
