All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Deposit

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Hotel information

Set in the historic riverside market town of St Ives, close to the city of Cambridge.

Originally a Victorian building which was sympathetically extended in 1990/91, Oliver's Lodge has 17 first class rooms, all with private bathroom, spacious new restaurant, real ale bar and several function rooms together with an attractive garden-patio area.

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area of St Ives, just two minutes walk from the town centre and close to the river.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 09:30.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:30.
Dinner is served from 19:00 until 21:30.

Area information

St Ives is situated on the Great Ouse river and close to the famous university City of Cambridge. The tiny Chapel,built on the 15th century stone over the river, is one of only four in the country and probably the best example.
Oliver Cromwell,born in nearby Huntingdon went to school here, as did Samuel Papys.Cromwell is commemorated today by an impressive bronze Statue in the market square and by the Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon.
The world famous university of Cambridge,the River Cam,Magdalena Bridge, Kings Chapel, the Bridge of Sighs are certainly worth a visit, whilst the modern, commercial city centre provides high quality shopping, restaurants, theatre and cinemas.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. the room (Dunbar room) was nice and spacious, with room for a three seat sofa.

The double bed was a little narrow, but just an excuse to cuddle more!! The bed linen were sheets rather than my preference of a duvet. these are all minor points.

We were met by the manager who made us very welcome and showed us to the room which was clean and tidy.

yes the bed was only a 4ft double

There was a nice welcome & friendly atmosphere . The food was excellent , especially the evening meal .

The only thing we did not like was the mattress was worn out , thus we did not sleep well .

Far too noisy, we had a front facing room and after travelling for 5 hours were kept awake til the early hours particularly with children running along the landing and then screaming and shouting below our window til 12.30 in the morning

Shown 2 rooms and offered a choice .... very quiet and comfortable .... excellent breakfast .... agreed instantly to my request to store valaubles in office safe

More powerful waterflow from the shower would be nice!
