As the only hotel on the stately Avenue de l’Opéra, the Edouard VII Hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the city of Paris.

With balcony views over the Garnier Opera House and a host of activities within a few minutes' walk from the front entrance, visitors can enjoy easy access to the Louvre Museum, Palais Royal and many other attractions.

Close to the Metro, you can easily transport yourself across the city. On returning to the elegant hotel you can sample inventive cuisine, relax in attractive guest rooms and admire views across they city.

An audacious mixture of Napoleon III and contemporary design features reign throughout the building, lending an elegant, truly Parisian feel to the hotel and its bedrooms.

The Edouard VII Hotel first opened in 1877 and the building still reflects its 19th century past, with bigger than average rooms, high ceilings, large double windows, wrought iron balconies and striking period details.

Food & beverage

Top French chef, Gilles Choukroun, renowned for his avant-garde haute cuisine, blends, marries and unites flavours in ways quite unlike anyone else in Paris’ food circuit.

His personal approach to cooking has earned him a reputation as a food-guru extraordinaire. Even as he strays away from more traditional dishes, Grandma’s favourites such as ‘hachis parmentier’ are always available. However, his food remains distinguishably French and reassuringly refined.

Room information

The rooms are all furnished in different styles and they are spacious, elegant and full of eye-catching details: noble materials, refined fabrics, and antique furniture.
They offer all the comforts: besides the listed facilities, cable TV (21 international channels), private voice mail, automatic wake-up calls, modem plug.
All our rooms have a beautiful view of rue de l'Opéra or rue d'Antin.

Area information

The hotel is well located for the Louvre Museum, Palais Royal, Place Vendôme and Marché St Honoré. Also visit the prestigious department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette and the luxurious Rue Saint Honoré fashion boutiques.

For sites that are further afield, public transport is quick and efficient. The Metro, RER, buses, CDG airport-shuttle and a direct 40 minute RER route to Disneyland Paris are all accessible close to the hotel. Gare du Nord Eurostar terminal is also just 10 minutes away by taxi.

Atmosphere and freindliness and effectiveness of the staff. Good breakfast, really nice croissants.

Too expensieve. But that is common for the hotels in Opera area. I cannot complain specially to the hotel.

The staff (porters) were so pleasent and helpful. 100%

No TV in living room of apartment suite. No Tea or Coffee facilities and has to pay laundry charge for ironing???

I think I got the most smallest room in the world. Nevertheless it was nice and cousy. So next trime I will take the standard room and not the single. Braekfast was nice but expensive.

Very central, easy to get to, lovely room

Unable to use bar or restaurant on night we were there - booked for a private function also for lunch next day - would not even serve us a drink in the salon

Spacious rooms, large beds, excelent breakfast. We had a very good price.

Restaurant was closed on Saturday night just as we planned to eat there.
