The hotel is located in the heart of Zurich, only minutes on foot from the lake, fashionable Bahnhofstrasse and Paradeplatz, the Opera House and Zurich’s bustling old town.

Set in 2 landmark buildings which date back to 1895, the hotel offers its guests the splendour of “fin-de-siècle” architecture and contemporary décor in a uniquely elegant, yet warm and comfortable combination.

At the award-winning Alden Restaurant & Bar, a fresh and seasonal “cuisine du marché” is served, and in summer guests enjoy “al fresco” dining in front of the house.

Room information

Guests of the Alden Hotel enjoy the elegance and comfort of 22 individually decorated rooms and suites, which are outfitted with modern amenities such as high-speed internet (cable or wireless), flat-screen television sets with in-room entertainment, jacuzzi bathtubs and gym equipment (on request). Each suite consists of a generously-sized living room, a bedroom and a spacious bathroom with whirlpool-bath, separate shower and separate toilet. The living room of the large suites allows you to host guests for business meetings in a private atmosphere.

Only 2 minutes to walk to the beautiful Lake of Zurich.

Excellent service and helpful staff. It is a boutique hotel so one has to be mindful of that.

The garden terrace overlooks the front of an apartment building on the other side of the road, hence the view is poor.

The lighting was not particularly good and we gad to move around lampos from one room to another at times.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in einer angenehmen Suite. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind nur zu loben. Das "Gourmet"-Restaurant verdient sich diese Bezeichnung.
