This elegant and intimate hotel offers superb accommodation at a very smart price. The Crescent Townhouse has an informal but gracious atmosphere that brings delighted guests back time after time.

Behind the Crescent Townhouse's striking 19th century listed facade can also be found the street level cosmopolitan Metro Brasserie with its wine bar ambience and the welcoming traditional Bar Twelve. The Crescent Townhouse earns bonus points though for its unrivalled location. It may be discreetly tucked away, insulated from sight and sound of the bustling Botanic Avenue milieu, but step outside and you are on the doorstep of the best of South Belfast's night life and entertainment.

The Metro Brasserie has built up an excellent reputation for fine food and service. This below-street level brasserie offers an early bird menu, an extensive à la carte menu and vegetarian menu, accompanied by an excellent choice of wines.

The Metro Brasserie has been awarded an AA Rosette and is recommended by the Good Food Guide, Bridgestone Guide and Cafès of Europe.

Bar Twelve is popular with residents and non-residents alike. With generous-sized leather chairs and lounging sofas, it is an ideal meeting point to start the evening.

Lunch is served Monday to Saturday from 12:00 – 15:00.

Room information

All rooms are en suite and located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. Please note there is not a lift; however, luggage will be brought to rooms. Some bathrooms have a walk-in shower while others have both a bath and a shower.

Guests are requested to pre-book the Metro Brasserie, as tables are not automatically reserved.

All accommodation reserved is en suite with one double bed per room. Your guest may be allocated accommodation that has a bathroom that has been adapted for guests with a wheelchair. Please advise if there will be a guest using a wheelchair prior to arrival.

Any special requests should be advised at the reservation stage: we endeavour to meet all requirements but unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

There is not a lift at The Crescent Townhouse. Rooms are allocated on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.

It was very relaxing and the receptionist was very helpful.

On street parking, there was no secure hotel parking.

Residents' lounge was very useful as bar twelve very noisy. Small and intimate atmosphere very appealing.

It didn't bother us but I could imagine that external late night noise could be a problem for some

friendly staff, good location, lovely bar and breakfast in bed was a treat!

room was a bit small and bed wan't exactly huge. besides that (and the rain) it was a great weekend!

separate taps for cold and hot water. As hotels are aimed at tourists, using mixing taps at least for washing hands in rooms could be considered.

the location was very good.

For all the days we were there and had the breakfast, we were told that the hotel was out of mushrooms. Although a very minor issue, it seemed absolutely ridiculas that a hotel couldn't buy some mushrooms, particulary as the shops directly opposite the hotel were selling mushrooms. We were left with the impression that they couldn't be bothered.

It's central location, traditional building and comfortable size.

Small points. No papers on Sunday morning and no toothpaste in the hotel when I arived late.

The decor was beautiful, the location brilliant, and the breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately there was no lift in the hotel up to rooms on the 3rd floor.

Very friendly staff from Kelly the receptionist at arrival, breakfast staff and bar staff. Only downside was parking facilities, although having stayed before we were aware of this.
