My room was unacceptably noisey on both nights as it overlooked the function suite - a race night and then a wedding.

At formal enjoyed staying over

Had asked for quiet room ok during night but building work and loud noise started before 7. came home tired out and had to go to bed. Sort of spoilt reason for staying

The greendoor resturant was excellent. We had not planned to eat in the hotel, however due to heavy rain we choose not to venture out. We were astounded by the scope and quality of the menu and the quality of the house wines.

Lovely large room and bathroom. Good choice at breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location - close to everything but also quiet.

The hotel was well located and the rooms where of a better decor that the pictures found on the internet.

We paid B&B which we ordered to our room, only one breakfast was delivered. I asked for the 2nd service charge to be removed as they had only delivered one - the receptionist removed it but did not apologise or acknowledge their delivery error.
