Sitting on the water's edge, the Ramada Peterborough (formerly Butterfly) overlooks Thorpe Meadows Park & Rowing Course.
70 bedrooms, including 4 luxurious suites. All rooms have en suite facilities, trouser press, hairdryer, multi-channel interactive TV & Radio systems, and upgraded security. WiFi access is available in bedrooms and public areas. Sky Sports in bar.

Had a decent bar and a good restaurant.

someone had been smoking in the room, there were cigarette burns in the lace curtains and the room was smelly.

I felt it could do with being modernised as most of the decor was remnant of the 80s and the en suite bathroom was very dated.

A coach stopped outside our room at 1.00 am. The noise woke us and we struggled to get back to sleep. At 3.45 am another coach stopped outside our room and the engine and people noise were appalling. All in all we had hardly any sleep.

Club suite room & hotel location. Paul in reception very helpful & waitress Holly very good.

Breakfast very poor. One television in room not working, could not be mended until Monday! Broken stool in bedroom.

Great location on the rowing course

It was a bit noisy at night with the wedding. Breakfast should be included in the price.

Location, hotel layout, parking and the room itself all good

Breakfast was very poor and extremely bad value for money. If you are going to charge £12 a head for breakfast it needs to be high quality and backed by good waitress service. It was partial self-service, but I had to wait for scrambled eggs that took ages, arrived cold and were clearly microwaved and rubbery. I ordered tea but received coffee. Its not rocket science to make a decent breakfast.

The receptionist was just fab - she was very welcoming and had a great sense of humour! Also liked the fact that I got 'upgraded' to the honeymoon suite (don't think I'd want to spend my honeymoon there though!)
