This modern, 3-star hotel lies at the foot of Santa Barbara Castle, just 200 metres from Alicante’s Postiguet Beach on the Costa Blanca.

Spend your day in the Kris Alicante’s outdoor swimming pool or down on the nearby Postiguet Beach. You can even book a sun lounger or deck chair at the beach from the hotel reception. After an enjoyable day in the Mediterranean sunshine you can head to the hotel’s buffet restaurant to dine on delicious local and international dishes.

The Kris Alicante, renovated in 2006, is located just a short, 500-metre stroll from the city centre. A wide range of shops are found in the Plaza Mar 2 centre, 100 metres away. Also, the city’s marina is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Hotel was easy to find and handy for both beach and city. Our room overlooked the castle and the view was excellent at night when it was all lit up.

The dinner menu was rather limited but good value. We were on the 8th floor and my friend doesn't like heights!

The location is excellent and staff very friendly

I think the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the room we stayed in was poor. The sheets and pillow covers appeared soiled and there were no extra pillows or blankets should they be required. The toilet in our room had a rather stale unpleasant smell.

Peace and quiet and close to some amentities

The hotel was generally ecellent, the rooms were adequate and clean and kept clean throughout our stay. The only failure was in the dining room where the presentation of breakfast could have been better and the so called hot food was not and the selection poor. The other disappointment was the lack of room service, limited. Would recommend it to others but would explain the defifiencies

good price, friendly and helpful staff and ease of access to tram and to alicante

unfortunately the hotel filled up at the week end with hundreds of kids doing what kids do. It was the national tae kwon do championship. But the stay was still great

Convenient location near beach, Esplanade, city center, etc all within walking distance. Nice balcony with view of Castile Santa Barbara. Very comfortable, clean, spacious room.

Closeness to the Centre of Alicante and the beach. The beach was easily walkable and the Centre was one tram stop away.

The hotel staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.

The price and location are good.

The staff are quite unfriendly and you really need to speak some spanish to get by. I couldnt manage to make my request for a "pot of hot water" understood even though I was trying to say it in Spanish and the staff make little effort to communicate. No cold milk at breakfast either. Quite noisy too.
