The location was excellent!

The reception staff were nice but I thought some of the other staff could have been a bit friendlier and more pleasant.

great location, great view

Mattresses were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. My friend swears her bed had a spring poking through the mattress--she put an extra blanket over the area in order to get some sleep. Shower stall had black mold growing in the grout. Windows did not close all of the way so the room was noisy and cold.

Liked the cleanliness of the room and the extra bit of providing a biscuit with your tea.

Would have liked breakfast included in the price as other hotels did provide breakfast for the same price.

I liked that I left-that was all that was good about this hotel. ( We paid penalty for our first day and moved out to other hotel.)

There were many things that I did not like and were unacceptable about this hotel. First, the quality of the furnishings in this hotel is unacceptable, even for a motel. Second, the rooms are very run down. The bathroom is creepy, the closet had a broken bar and the carpet had unidentifiable stains (gross!). Third, the room ranks of a nasty and again, unidentifiable smell.

How the Reception staff accommodated an early book in to allow our visit to the garden Party at Holyrood Palace to be much more enjoyable

Yhe staff were always pleasant and helpful

It would have been really helpful to have one or two coat hooks in the bathroom
