This iconic, Modernist building was built in 1908 and occupies one of the most prestigious locations in the city, at the head of the chic Passeig de Gracia.

The 5-star Casa Fuster is a monument in itself, being the work of the architect Lluis Domènech i Montaner. The work of this famous Modernist, including this hotel, has been designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. From the building’s roof terrace you can enjoy unique views down the classy, central Passeig de Gracia and much of the rest of Barcelona.

Along with the historic value of this hotel, you can also enjoy facilities added during the recent careful renovation. These include the rooftop plunge pool and the elegant, contemporary decor throughout.

Casa Fuster was named 2008 Best Urban Hotel in Spain by Gran Hotel magazine.

A fusion between a good cook work and an elegant presentation, made by a young cook team recently awarded for their constant innovation and work.

Room information

The rooms are decorated in natural and warm colors; green, stone and chocolate reflecting peace and harmony. The big windows flood every room with light. The interior furnishing, of exclusive design, creates a very special atmosphere of harmonic lines, noble materials and colors, combining modernist elements with a modern touch.

The doorman from Uruguay was very nice. Royo, the deputy manager was very kind too.

A few times, upon being asked a question, staff said "ok, I'll get back to you soon", but didn'T.

The room was very clean and the hotel staff very friendly. The hotel was in a very good location that made the stay nice and pleasurable. Excellent and very unique breakfast.

There was no smoking area in the hotel, The bar did not have any food or snacks apart from caviar!!! The food at the Galaxo restaurant was very over priced for the quality and quantity of the food offered. Room service menu poor and quantities very small.

Great breakfast , for the 25 euro you get a really great food. Very good location, beautiful interior design.

The rooftop with pool and bar was closed for the night.

Rooms and location is great, underground parking just in front of the hotel and metro is just down the road. Good views from quiet rooms and one full non-smoking floor.

Breakfast in the basement disapointing. The room is great for other uses, but starting the day in a dark vault after being woken by the sun is a turnoff. Better to grab breakfast close by or across the street.

Excellent ambience, architecture, and service. A place with strong personality. Just the hotel bar is worth the stay, like being inside of Casa Batllo. Great views from the roof top terrace.

Rooms are not as big as a regular 5 stars hotel, but this is a restored old building and it is not a regular 5 stars hotel.
