The Hotel Pulitzer is located right in the city centre of Barcelona, just a few minutes away from the historical Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia. It is an outstanding spot and, above all, very welcoming. Outside, it is located in the city centre of Gaudí, surrounded by culture, museums and shopping possibilities, and, inside, the black, white, rich wood, leather and glazed areas create a variety of surroundings with a welcoming and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

It also has a lobby with a library, full of cosy, peaceful spots and with a huge table, which makes it the perfect place for holding work meetings with an informal touch. The hotel offers its guests the possibility of using the Holmes Place Gym-Spa free of charge, located just two blocks away.

Food & beverage

The restaurant “Visit” is one of the most remarkable places in the hotel and has become a gastronomic reference point in Barcelona. An area where there is a glass roof and side panel opening onto an interior garden. Its cuisine is based on traditional top quality produce, with a somewhat creative dash that provides a personal touch to each of the dishes. Mediterranean cuisine to delight even the most demanding palate, a wonderful atmosphere and service, for business lunches and private dinners or special celebrations.
The cocktails are concocted and served in the large bar and library area and have already become famous throughout the entire city.

Room information

All the rooms in the hotel are designed in modernist style to ensure that guests will have an unforgettable stay in Barcelona. The rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, flat-screen televisions with access to international TV channels, free Wi-Fi connection and all the comforts you could ever wish for to make your stay as pleasant as possible: a full mini-bar with sweet and savoury snacks, wines and liquors, room service and irons and ironing boards are also available, etc.

The rooms are controlled by an automation server system, so that guests can freely adjust the temperature and lighting to their own personal taste, including an anti-theft security control. The black marble bathrooms have a large mirror, a hair dryer and all kinds of other amenities, as well as bathrobes and slippers.

Area information

The Hotel Pulitzer is located in the perfect place, just a few minutes away from all public transport services, even though most of the main sightseeing, cultural and shopping areas are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel: the famous, colourful Ramblas is only one minute away; the impressive Paseo de Gracia is only 5 minutes away, where there are many of the most important Catalan cultural works, such as the buildings la Pedrera and casa Batlló de Gaudí, as well as a wide variety of trendy boutiques of international prestige.
The Palau de la Música and the Gran Teatro del Liceu, world-wide references for classical music, are also very near the hotel.
The Plaza de Catalunya, just beside the hotel, leads to the Barrio Gótico and the quaint districts of la Rivera or el Born, full of small restaurants and trendy national and international designer boutiques.

Excellent location,very friendly and helpful reception staff with good english,rooms as advertised with a high standard of cleanliness.We liked breakfast being served until midday.

We have no complaints about this hotel because we found it exactly as advertised.

Firstly the location of the hotel is excellent, a very short walk to Las Ramblas. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The only fault i could mention was that the hotel was difficult to locate on the street as it has no obvious name signs outside that you could identify until you were very close to it.

The hotel staff was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The location is outstanding - its centrality unparalleled. Great bar - very welcoming and not pretentious. The breakfast was very good and well worth the price.

The room is excellent except for the shower which was pitch dark and no light and no electrical outlets for computer, shaver etc....

Nobody smiles.....except for one receptionist and one bar tender they are all sullen and unhappy looking. Worst was the restaurant.

perfect location. wonderfully stylish hotel

minor issues only. room not especially spacious. TV - only 2 English chanels. (no tea/coffee facilities in room - but fairly standard for Spanish hotels)

Location was at the top of la Rambla near the Placa Catalunya and was close to metro, airport bus and tour buses. Also right in the heart of the city where everything was accessible. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - the room was quiet and well appointed and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Rooms are clean, good sound isolation (you are in the middle of Barcelona) and have good airco. Atmosphere in this hotel is "hip business" and upper level tourist class (no large groups etc.) Nice bar(tender...;-)), beautiful roof terrace.

The hotel is modern and clean. Bed is comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful. We wanted hot water and the staff at the bar counter offer us a thermoflask filled with hot water. Lobby and lounge is cozy and quiet and there is an outdoor area that we like to have a drink or two.
