The Meliá Wellness Centre is a private centre available exclusively to hotel guests at an additional cost. This spa centre offers a variety of relaxing and therapeutic spa treatments using the most modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. A team of dedicated professional experts are on hand to offer specialised medical services, advice and suitable treatments. The spa centre also has a heated swimming pool and water area, sauna, jacuzzi, fitness centre, beauty parlour, hairdresser and massage area.

The hotel’s glass elevators offer panoramic views.

Food & beverage

Every morning the hotel offers a generous buffet breakfast featuring a wide selection of dishes. Breakfast is available in the lounge, which has wonderful sea views.

The hotel’s Terra Restaurant specialises in paella and rice dishes, as well as fresh fish and shellfish.

The new bar and Bistro offers a different kind of creative cuisine with authentic traditional tapas.

The Code Bar has a relaxed, elegant ambience, enhanced by the superb views over the sea.

During the warm summer months, guests can enjoy their meals in the hotel’s Blue area, with views over the sea.

The hotel has 544 rooms with sea views, including 358 standard rooms, 113 double rooms with living rooms (ideal for 2 adults and 2 children) and 73 The Level rooms.

The Level area of the hotel is located on the top floor and offers spectacular views. The Level is almost a separate, exclusive hotel within the hotel. It has a private reception, a separate breakfast lounge and a free open bar in the afternoon (from 12.30 until 22:00; Monday to Saturday).

Area information

10 kilometres (6 miles) from "El Altet" International Airport (ALC). Next to the Explanada and located in one of the most exclusive areas of the city centre, just 100 metres from City Hall on Postiguet beach, next to the new Alicante Yacht Harbour, and only 7 kilometres from San Juan beach.

when the open bar facility is not available you only get a reduction of 10% not sufficient to prchase two drinks this happened on two nights of our 6 not impressed as this was why we booked to stay on the level we thought it was a con !!!!!

Good position of hotel for all sights and shops. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast. Would stay again.

Very noisy disco nearby. Only public parking which was expensive.

Problem wuth air con. Room very hot, however tech. staff did what they were able to alleviate prob. and were already endeavouring to resolve it.

The location and the view were fantastic.

The room was big and confortable with view to the see. The breakfast is more than excellent with a wonderfull view on the beach and a lot of choice. The Hotel is very well located near the beach and less than 10 mts walking from the center where you have some places for shopping. I really enjoyed staying there for the second time and I will recommend this Hotel to everyone who go to Alicante.

Maybe, but just because nothing is perfect, I missed a bar near the swimming pool.

Excellent facilities, very helpful friendly staff.

Very expensive for food and drink at pool and mini bar - quality of food did not reflect extremely high cost. Room service should have been 24hours and not limited to a couple of hours at a time.

Great location, nice rooms, good facilities, pleasant helpful staff

Long queues at reception both for checking out and for general queries - they need to route more general queries through the concierge or allow receptionists to deal with the desk only not answering phones as well.
