A pleasant comfortable hotel. However, the price gouging on every little thing was annoying, especially for a top priced hotel. i.e. Why can't hotels that cost over 150 pounds per night provide free broadband and wireless access? I've stayed in backpacker hostels that manage it. |

Comfortable bed and good parking facilities Cold room and bathroom. Expensive for what they offer in terms of facilities and comfort. Had food at the restaurant: first had hair in my starter then my main course was raw. Although they apologised and changed the dishes, there was no real gesture of goodwill shown. Also I had to wait before the order was taken despite the place not being that busy. |

the relaxed atmosphere and breakfast! Please tell guests that they need to use their key card to re-enter the hotel at night not just expect them to read the hotel info. |

Excellent staff and the rooms were of a high standard and perfect for having a lazy time. Although its a 25 minute walk into cambridge, a bit of exercise does no one any harm!! Nothing wrong with the hotel in our opinion, perfect |

Our room was poorly designed - the window was down to the floor which under normal circumstances would be great but when you are adjacent to a driveway it means you have to have the blind down all day. The lights in the room were badly positioned therefore it was almost impossible to read at night. The large basin in the bathroom meant you had to lean awkwardly to apply make-up. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The contemporary decor with the old style of the building worked extremely well and the room and facilities were excellent. We will definatley be staying again and will recommend the hotel to friends. |

We chose the premier room described as opulent and they were not wrong it was exceptional. Our rate included continental breakfast which was buffet style, with varied choice including home made granola, very nice. Based on our stay the high rating is well justified. |

Excellent breakfast in a very pleasant dining area; efficient and friendly staff; lovely, quiet location Our room was not ready on arrival at 15h, and too few towels were provided; I would not expect a hotel of this standing and price range to have worn carpets in hallways and scratched/damaged furniture in rooms; incomprehensibly high charges for internet connection. |

Very little to fault really. Because of logistics and weather we chose to eat in the hotel and found the food to be of an exceptional standard. If I had to find a negative in this respect I would have to say that such high quality cuisine deserves at least a tablecloth instead of the plasticky slightly cramped tables they use. We like to be fairly smart when eating out, a dying habit I know, but the drab shirts of the uniform actually detracted from the experience and in fact one of them on the barman looked decidedly grubby. There was not a tie in sight on any of the waiting staff including the head waiter who was smart enough with a dark duit, plain white shirt with open neck... But no tie! Call me old fashioned |

We weren't the most demanding of customers but the service was efficient and unfussy. Nice clean room with a lovely big bed. Reception on radio was awful couldn't tune it in. The TV system is over complicated if all you want to do is watch some telly. But all of these are minor grumbles. |
