Even though I was only there for one night, it felt like home. I have to travel a lot with my job and this is one of the nicest hotels I've had the good fortune to stay in; the room was spacious, the decor was tasteful and all the goodies were an added bonus. |

It was all quite good. Room was by the entrance and was quite noisy in the morning. The sink made peculiar gurgling noises occasionally. Wasn't impressed by the supplement for staying only one night at the weekend, though this seems to be standard in Brighton. |

hotel staff, cleanliness of the room, near the shops, quietness , water bottles and nuts provided in the room no lift, very small room, TV wasn't working well, the kettle needs to be changed |

Like many things in Brighton, outside, in the pouring rain, looked drab and uninviting, but inside the rooms were a delight. Full of charm, spotless and every attention to detail. We were fortunate in being offered an adjacent parking space. Can imagine that parking might be a problem. |

The welcoming friendliness of the Manager and the nice little touches in the bedroom - chocolates on the bed - free drinks (including wine) in the room. Superb breakfast. 3 flights of stairs to our room! |

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely people - nothing was too much trouble. Being able to reserve a free parking space saved a lot of money and hassle. Newspapers to read over breakfast were lovely. The room was a little scruffy - Broken floor tile in bathroom, broken toilet seat lid, walls marked. On the stairs, scuffed paintwork. Badly cracked mug, no fridge for drinks.Not up to the standard of a boutique hotel. These issues may deter me from staying again. |

Excellent and helpful staff. A warm welcome .Room and facilities were among the best I have seen and I have travelled widely in the Uk and abroad. Room was comfortable and clean and brealfast well presented and cooked. |

the breakfast was superb and valentina is warm and welcoming host. the wine and nuts etc were a nice touch. the bath robes were past their best and in my opinion should have been disposed of. |

Loved the fact that all goodies in the room were complimetary ie peanuts, drinks (soft and wine). Great, freshly cooked breakfast with decent coffee. Staff were lovely and friendly. Parking space reserved for me - parking is generally a nightmare around there. Well equipped room with iron and ironing board Bathroom was tiny, but had everything you needed. Pricey, but worth it on balance. |

Friendly and helpful staff; free internet was much appreciated; excellent full English breakfast included; convenient to shops and restaurants; nice quiet location; good price for busy holiday period in Brighton. Rooms were small so pack a small suitcase, no desk in rooms. The hotel is well suited to vacationers, but less so for business travellers. |
