Located in one of Nerja's main streets, only 2 minutes walk from beaches such as Salon and De Calahonda, the hotel is also set close to the renowned Europe's Balcony.

During your stay you can take time to explore Nerja's old town with its pedestrian streets: Puerte del mar; Carabeo; Ferrandiz; and Pintada, where a number of shops and restaurants can be found.

On top of the hotel you will find a sunroof with an ocean view on one side and the Sierra Nevada Mountains on the other side, you can begin your day here with breakfast and end it with a drink, admiring the sunset.

Inside the hotel you will find a variety of paintings on the walls by different local artists, as well as Clara la Duena's work (the owner), all which can be purchased.

Area information

Nerja perches above a spectacular rugged coastline and is situated on the eastern side of the Costa del Sol at the limit of the province of Granada. The town is surrounded by the natural beauty of the National Park area of Maro-Cerro Gordo, with wonderful beaches and hidden coves beneath the backdrop of the Sierra Almijara

The main attraction of the old town is the beautiful Balcon De l' Europe, a palm tree lined square that juts out to sea and is flanked by pavement cafes and has a definite cosmopolitan feel favoured by street artistes and musicians alike. At the far end of the Balcon a circular vantage points enables fantastic views of the sea down below and along the coastline

A visit to Nerja is not complete without a visit to the world famous Caves of Nerja , a large important archaeological site which holds famous music festivals in the summer.

The hotel is situated just steps away from Calle Perez and Calle Chapril, where you will find all kinds of shops, restaurants, tapas bars and the famous Tutti Frutti Plaza with its pubs and clubs.

Clara and Roberto were very friendly and helpful hosts. The room was very tastetful and everything in the hotel was clean and well-kept. We had a nice little balcony with a sea-view. Highly recommended!

The location and accommodation were fantastic. The hostal was spotless and extremely well-run. The roof terrace was particularly nice and it musy be lovely to have breakfast there during the summer months. We would happily recommend this hostal to other travellers.

Great value, central location, friendly staff, wonderful roof terrace ( especially for breakfast), When it rained one day the owners gave all the guests umbrellas. Lovely Tapas bar less than 50m away (on same street, turn left leaving Hotel)

If you go to Nerja, this hotel is such a lovely place to stay!! It is very clean, very well decorated, a charming place! We have been amazed as it is a 2 stars but the service is definitely 4 stars! We liked everything about it and the owners are lovely people. Take time to look at the wonderful paintings on the hotel walls, painted by.Carla, the owner, a great artist! We will be back!

Hotel was charming and so was the staff. The location was great. We really liked the art on the walls, painted by the owner, we think?!

There was no internet. The air conditioner makes a lot of noise throughout the night, so we turned it off the last night and just used the fan, not bad.

Very central location (seconds from the centre of town), good sized bedroom, excellent roof top breakfast area, very friendly staff. It will be the top choice for my next stay in Nerja!

hospitable staff, rooftop patio with amazing views, interior charmingly decorated, excellent location near beach and shopping

Although it was not a problem for us, people who can not easily go up and down stairs should look elsewhere, as there is no elevator.

Location to the centre of Nerja, the Owners were very friendly and informative, Breakfast on the Terrace in the morning, the view from the Terrace, Air conditioning, Balcony. Overall Hostal Don Peque exceeded our expectations.

parking - you must park 2 streets away, so be prepared to walk with your bags for 3/4 mins. Its not such a big problem, but just be prepared for it.

This hostal was outstanding; wonderful, friendly staff, great location, great price, extremely clean, great rooftop terrace breakfast, inexpensive rental of beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, nice size room and the room had a balcony. I have only stayed at 3 and 4 star hotels before as I have traveled Europe these past 3 summers. I don't know why this was a 2 star. I enjoyed this hostal more than many 4 star hotels I have stayed at.

The overall ambiance. The view from the terrace is very nice. The rooms were bright, colorful, and clean. The jam served at breakfast was delicious.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, he can speak spanish, german and english very very well. the room is pretty and the scenery outside of the room is great too. we enjoyed the night in this hotel very much.

the proximity of the hostal, it was very central. the owners were very friendly and made us very welcome, we would stay here again.

we were on the third floor and there is no lift but the owner carried our cases both up and down
