Tips to have WiFi access at the hotel

Free Wi-Fi is nowadays quite a common service in most hotels in Fribourg. A-Z Hotels have prepared some tips for you, so you know what to do as soon as you arrive at your hotel with free internet access.

1. 1. Go to the front desk and ask for your Wi-Fi password. Most of hotels provide this information in the room booklet as well.
2. 2. If the hotel doesn't have Wireless internet, they might have an internet cable inside the room, again you might need a password and then connect the cable to your laptop.
3. 3. Remember that some hotels also have internet cabins (2-5 computers).
4. 4. Be aware that internet in a hotel is a basic service and usually limited with daily download restrictions and limited speed

Don't need to pay for Wi-Fi

If you couldn't connect to the internet from the hotel, remember that there could also be Wi-Fi hotspots in many places around Fribourg. For example: locals coffee shops or restaurants such as McDonald's or Starbucks! In Fribourg many cafés and restaurants now offer free internet access. So for the price of a latte, you can surf away for nothing.
