Situated mid way between Inverness and Fort Augustus on the beautiful south side of Loch Ness is Foyers Bay. This quieter side of the Loch is totally unspoilt and is steeped in the mystery and history of Loch Ness. Foyers Bay Country House and Self Catering Lodges are situated in Lower Foyers in over 4 acres of magnificent grounds, surrounded by wooded pine slopes, abundant rhododendrons and an apple orchard offering some of the most spectacular views of Loch Ness. Adjacent to the grounds are the famous “ Falls of Foyers”. The famous Falls of Foyers as described in the poem by Robert Burns are located to the rear of the property and can be easily reached by a short path, which takes less than 5 mins to walk from either the house or lodges. A further walk along the gorge takes about 15mins, and is ideal for an after dinner stroll. There are several other forest walks from the House and Lodges.
