Originally a 17th-century drover's inn. The courtyard, now a car park, is surrounded by many of the bedrooms. A former winner of the "Brecon in Bloom" competition, pretty hanging baskets are seen everywhere. Bedrooms are no-smoking and attractively decorated, with rich floral fabrics used to good effect.
There is a wealth of actities in the surrounding area including The Breacon Leisure Centre which is very well equipped with the-pin bowling lanes, swimming pools and gym. Golf, pony-trekking, mountain bike hire and canal boat cruises can all be easlily arranged locally. For those without transport, Brecon is adequately server by bus and coach services from Cardiff, Hereford and London.
We are ideally situated for exploring the beatiful Brecon Beacons National Park and are within two minutos walk from The Centre of Brecon with its many attractions. Some 200 metres away is the Welch Regiment Museum Housing many interesting artefacts and memoriabillia in the Zulu war room.
About the same distance awais is Brecon's Stinning New Theatr Brycheiniog located by the basin of The Brecon - MonMouth Canal. The Brecon Jazz Festival, held each august, attracts some of the Biggest Internacional Stars and is considered to be one of the best in the world.
