A warm welcome awaits you at Lane Farm, a traditional 400 acre organic family working beef and sheep farm, nestling beneath the tranquil Breidden Hills, where wild life abounds in the picturesque Severn Valley.
Ideally situated to explore The Marches, Shropshire Hills and Mid-Wales, within easy reach of the mountains, lakes and coast. A perfect base for visiting Shrewsbury, Chester, Oswestry, Welshpool and the beautiful surrounding area.
The Welsh Tourist Board have graded us three star. We also hold a welcome Host Gold award. Our guests are welcome to return at any time from their exploring to relax and enjoy the house, farm and gardens. We look forward to seeing you.
The new extension to the farmhouse comprises of four en-suite spacious modern rooms. Two are on the ground floor, one of which has been designed with the less agile visitor in mind, offering extra wide doorways, drive in shower (no shower tray), slightly lower toilet with a grab rails to the side and a lower wash basin with lever tap. Two rooms are on the first floor.
All the rooms have central heating and have been furnished with new pine furniture, radio alarm clocks and comfortable chairs. The dining room is in the original farmhouse and is beamed with a log burner for the cooler months. Guests are welcome to use the gardens which afford splendid views.
A large farmhouse breakfast is assured using local produce and when possible our own eggs. A good selection of local pubs are within easy walking or driving distance for evening meals.
