A uniquely styled traditional, family run, independent hotel for individual people, enjoy a great vacation in picturesque Llandudno on North Wales coast. The largest seaside resort in Wales, we also boast Snowdonia National Park, National Trust properties, narrow gauge yailways, historic houses & castles, mountains and lakes on our doorstep.
The Ambassador is renowned by many regular returning guests for our comfort, service and friendliness. The Hotel is relaxed and informal, but with a commitment to standards and disciplines, with a belief that all of this has to be affordable.
The Williams family is now in it’s third generation of caring for hotel guests, many of whom have been returning for a period of over thirty years. Indeed, some of our regular visitors enjoyed their childhood holidays with us.
Our Head Chef and his team to provide interesting and varied menus. We use local free range eggs and our fish, fruit and vegetables are sourced from local suppliers. Special diets for vegetarians, diabetics, and fat -free diets can also be accommodated with prior notice.
Lunchtime menus are always available, from a three-course meal to traditional pies, fish, casseroles, curries and pasta dishes to salads, ploughman’s and sandwiches made with our own home-baked bread. Packed lunches are also available, when ordered in advance.
The Ambassador Patisserie is open from 10.00am to 5.30pm daily, where you can relax with a pot of tea or coffee. Spoil yourself with a sandwich made on our home-baked bread, perhaps indulge in a cream cake or afternoon tea.
Packed Lunches are available for Day Excursions, orders should be given at Reception the previous evening.
Our wine list contains over 15 House wines available by the bottle or glass. Our Directors Fine List has over 50 wines from classical French to New World gems.
The Ambassador Hotel has one of the best stocked bar in Llandudno, with an extensive selection of Liqueurs, Whisky’s, Wines, Continental and Farm-pressed Fruit Juices, Health Drinks, Draught and Bottled Premium Lagers, Beers and Stouts.
Please note that children are not permitted to remain in the Bar after 9.00pm

We ask all guests to note that Smart Casual dress is required in The Restaurant, with no short trousers at Dinner. The use of Mobile Phones is not permitted in the Restaurant.

Special Occasions - Our duty receptionist will be pleased to assist with special occasion celebrations or simply a small gift to a loved one. We can provide; Celebration cakes, an assortment of flowers, chocolates, champagne and other fine wines.
By Road accessibility is excellent from all parts of the UK. The A55 expressway links North Wales to the national motorway network.
From the A55 follow signs into Llandudno, then follow signs onto the Promenade. Pass the Venu Cymru Theatre & Conference Centre on your left, the hotel is a prominent corner property, situated approx. half way between the band stand on the promenade and the Pier.
