Cantre Selyf is a fine town house dating from the early 17th Century. One of the most historic properties in Brecon, it occupies a central position in the town, close to St. Mary's Church. Built to a grand design, it still retains many fine original features including moulded ceilings, elegant fireplaces and oak beams . All creaks and squeaks are entirely authentic
The beautiful walled garden is a peaceful haven where guests can relax after a busy day.s exploring all the delights the area has to offer. Cantre selyf offers the best of both worlds. Centrally and conveniently located for all the shops and restaurants yet quiet and peaceful away from it all.
We have 3 double rooms one of which is a twin bedded room. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms. Comfy beds with crisp cotton bedlinen ensure a good night's sleep.
Our guest sitting room provides an elegant yet comfortable place to relax. Why not borrow a book or one of the many board games on offer. We have our own off road parking and are Non Smoking throughout.
We enjoy sharing our special house and garden and are very proud of the area we live in so are only too happy to help plan a day out or recommend one of the splendid restaurants in the area to finish off the day. Guests are very welcome to borrow guide books and maps.
