Welcome to the Castle Coaching Inn, a small family run 3 star Georgian Hotel standard Inn and Restaurant. We are located in the village of Trecastle in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales. The Hotel is privately owned and managed by Val and John Porter who take pleasure in personally welcoming their guests.
Our food was recently reviewed in the Western Mail's Wales on Sunday.The Hotel syle inn is situated in the North of the Brecon Beacons National Park and makes an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, golf or just enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife the Brecon Beacons has to offer.
The accommodation consists of 9 guest bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, (some bath, some shower). If you have a preference please mention this when you book. All rooms have a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, digital multi-channel television and tea and coffee making facilities.Please note all rooms are now no-smoking.We have wireless internet access available in some rooms, if you would like to use your laptop to access this, please mention this when booking.
We have an open log fire burning in the bar throughout the winter months, making it the ideal place to wind down your day with a pint of bitter or glass of wine. There is a great atmosphere when the bar is full at the weekend.We have a selection of real ales that change weekly, we only have 1 or 2 on at a time but that ensures it's always in top condition. We also have a good choice of malt whisky, both Scottish and Irish.
