We are a family run hotel in Broomhill, one and a half miles from the city centre and within walking distance of Sheffield University and the hospitals. We have 10 bedrooms, 6 of which are en suite. All rooms have central heating, hot and cold water, shaver point, hairdryer, tea and coffee facility, clock radio and TV.
The hotel stands in its own grounds away from the road and there is ample private parking.Etruria House is one of the finest Victorian properties in Broomhill and derives its name from the deeds dated 1875 when John Armitage extended two dwellings listed in deeds dated 1794.
Etruria is a small state in Italy, which was noted for its pottery clay which was used by Joshua Wedgewood and the name Etruria was carried to Stoke on Trent. Armitage used similar clay to build the property.
