The little guest house with the big welcome. Reputed to originally belong to Queen Victoria and used by her surveyors and Architects whilst constructing our famous harbour. Ideal base for a stopover en route to the continent or a short break, soaking up the rich history of the area. We are 5 minutes for ferries, hoverport and cruise terminal and approx 15 minutes for the channel tunnel.
Dover castle and the famous white cliffs are nearby and the Bronze Age Boat can be seen in the towns museum. There are lovely cliff walks and the north downs way runs past the house. Off-road car parking and dry storage for bicycles is available.
You can choose from full English breakfast, continental or room only and there is a comfortable dining room with relaxing music. As we are small, we can cater for individual dietary needs.
All rooms have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities plus radio alarms and hairdryers. Friendly proprietor with a wealth of local knowledge willing to assist and advise.
