Gattaway is a large Georgian/Victorian Farmhouse with some features from the Adam Brothers who were famous in Georgian times for architecture and interior features.
3* Farmhouse bed and breakfast with 2 double and 1 twin room, all are en-suite. The twin is downstairs and is suitable for disabled people (category 1) and has a wheel in shower and grab rails.
Gattaway sits amongst rich farmland overlooking the Earn and Tay estuaries and sheep and cattle are bred on the farm for Lamb and Beef. Gattaway is an ideal base for touring as we are only 4 miles from a major road and rail network. We can be in a lot of places in a relatively short time! Edinburgh airport is just under an hour away and Glasgow just over an hour. There is plenty to do in the area from Golf, Fishing, Shooting, Walking to just relaxing and visiting the beautiful castles and gardens in the vicinity.
Bedrooms
Blue - The largest of our rooms with King size bed and triple aspect windows over looking the garden and extensive views to the North, East and West. En-suite with a large shower. Tea/Coffee making facilities.
Pink - Another large room with King size bed and South facing window overlooking the farm. En-suite bathroom with shower above. Tea/coffee making facilities.
Green - A large Twin room on the ground floor with views over the garden and to the North. En-suite wet shower area. This room is suitable for disabled guests (cat 1 unassisted) and has plenty of room in the bedroom and also the shower room for wheel chairs. There is also 10” of clearance under each bed for the use of a hoist. This room also has a log stove and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Access for wheelchairs is from the rear of the house by way of a ramp. If requiring this room for disabled use, please call to confirm requirements etc.

Family Room - £65 per night for 3 persons or £70 per night for 4. Extra beds are full size Z beds, maximum of 2 per room.
Children under 12 in a room of their own receive 10% reduction.
Children under 2 free, cot and high chair on request.
Single occupancy - £40 per night
7 nights – 10% reduction
Dogs welcome if house trained and very obedient!

Our water is very special as it comes from our own spring on the hill. It is filtered and sterilised by UV to make it perfectly safe for drinking. It tastes wonderfull too as all good water should!
