The bedrooms and facilities have emerged from what at times has been long and wishful thinking, it has taken over fourteen years to transform what was a decrepit building into the lavish surroundings that you can see here today. It was often difficult to see the floor for the number of carpenters, cabinetmakers, electricians and decorators. We have had many obstacles and it has been an education beyond comprehension. The end result now speaks for itself. The Albright Hussey Manor can boast to be one of the finest Hotels and Restaurants in the Shrewsbury area, with Highly accredited awards from the AA in the form of 4 Star, with the highest rating in the Shrewsbury area. The food served in the restaurant has also been awarded by the AA to a Red Rosette standard.
The Moat room restaurant sits in the ground floor of this historic manor and offers a wealth of oak panelling, huge open fireplaces, moulded Tudor beams and fantastic views of the Shropshire countryside. Our professional staff provide an attentive service which all assists the welcoming & comfortable ambience.
Menus have been compiled using the freshest possible local ingredients – we hope to provide what is ‘at its best in season’. The kitchen brigade are constantly striving to create interesting and flavoursome combinations and are dedicated in their efforts to provide you a dinner that will be long memorable – for all the right reasons!!
