Coach houses were traditionally warm and welcoming places. This particular example is one of a new breed, offering 5 Star, contemporary townhouse accommodation. But that welcome is as big as ever.
Marc and Tony are simply wonderful hosts (‘We always go that extra mile to make our guests feel at home.’) They are full of local knowledge on the best places to visit, walk, cycle or ride. It’s part of the Coach House’s strong ‘Sense of Place’, which runs from photographs and maps of the Brecon Beacons on the walls to the Welsh delicacy breakfasts (try Eggs Brychan – scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and laverbread).
The evening meals are similarly inventive, served in the stylish small restaurant. Everything in the Coach House has been well thought out. The light airy bedrooms are of the highest standard showing attention to detail – and there’s even a holistic therapist on hand!
