We are situated 4 miles west of Eastbourne on the magnificent Seven Sisters Cliffs at Birling Gap with rolling downland all around and only one mile south of the pretty village of East Dean on the main south coast road the A259. Beachy Head is 2 miles to the East and the South Downs Way goes right past our door before following the Seven Sisters along to Cuckmere Haven and then inland to the picturesque village of Alfriston.
THATCHED BAR
Open daily from 11.00am Mon - Sat and 12.00pm on Sunday serving a fine selectionof Real ales, Wines, Beers and Spirits. We also offer a range of bar meals and snacks every lunchtime and evening including locally caught cod and plaice, homemade pies, ploughman's lunches and vegetarian dishes with a substantial choice of daily chef's specials.
OAK ROOM RESTAURANT
Offering an extensive menu with daily Chef's specials and a comprehensive wine list.On Sunday lunchtime we have a Carvery available, which offers choices of meat and fresh vegetables in addition to our normal A La Carte menu.
COFFEE SHOP
Open from 10.00am to 6.00pm daily serving morning Coffee, Lunches, afternoon Sussex Cream Teas and a selection of freshly made sandwiches and an assortment of cakes and biscuits. The Coffee Shop offers magnificent views over the cliff tops and the English Channel.
FUNCTION SUITE
Available for private bookings, business meetings, conferences and luncheon and dinner parties. Ample off road car parking space is available for 100 + cars.
