Mark and Jane Hibbitt welcome you to Thornbank House. Set in the heart of the Lake District we are just 10 minutes walk from Windermere and the station, Bowness and the Lake ,shops and many restaurants.
All of our 7 ensuite bedrooms are individually decorated with superior quality beds - offering even the most restless sleeper a comfortable nights' sleep. Luxury bedding with complimentary tea,coffee,biscuits,toiletries and fluffy towels complete the experience. We have family bedrooms which sleep up to 4 people, king size doubles a twin and a single. We also have a ground floor twin/double which is suitable for those who have difficulty wth stairs.
Our extensive breakfast menu will cater for every taste and our English Breakfast is 'highly acclaimed ' by our many regulars. All ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible.
Private parking will enable you to leave your car and make best use of our extensive local knowledge and literature.
Packed lunches are available with prior notice.
Thornbank House is half a mile out of Windermere just off the Lake road to Bowness. We can be found 25 metres up Thornbarrow Rd on the left. We have an illuminated blue sign.
