Located in the centre of Amsterdam, traditional Dutch houses have been converted into 2-star private studios, private or shared rooms and comfortable apartments.

Fully equipped with kitchen facilities, free wireless internet access and cosy furnishings, the apartments have everything one needs in a home away from home. Some apartments are located on the ground floor and the luxury apartments enjoy a view over the canal from their private balcony.

Conveniently located near many of the tourist attractions, beautiful Vondel Park and bustling night life, the apartments are ideal for both short and long term accommodation.

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 19.00 per day.

Food & beverage

Self-catering accommodation with kitchenette available for guests. There is no breakfast service. In the surrounding area you can find many supermarkets and outdoor markets at a short distance walking. Also, there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity offering breakfast, lunch or dinners, as well as take-away or delivery services.

Amsterdam Apartments Alexander's offers 3 types of accommodation:
- Private room studio for 1 or 3 persons maximum, en-suite facilities and kitchenette.
- Rooms for 1 or 2 people, with shared shower, toilet and kitchenette.
- 2 or 3 bedroom apartments, en-suite facilities and kitchenette.

Important: when booking last minute, it is possible that apartments with kitchenette are no longer available (only accommodation with private shower/ toilet). The apartments do not have a separate livingroom but there is enough space in the apartment for a seating area. Apartments are usually en-suite. If you need a separate seating area, you can book a two bedroom apartment or choose a three bedroom apartment.

On request:
terrace, ground floor accommodation, hair dryer, washing machine, bathtub, telephone, iron and ironing board.

Area information

The apartments are conveniently located within walking distance of many of the main squares, museums and shopping streets and central station is just 10 minutes away by public transport. Some of Amsterdam’s largest clubs are also in the neighbourhood.

To escape the hustle and bustle of the city life, a stroll in the Vondel Park is highly recommended. The park is also an ideal place to go jogging or skating without having to worry about dodging trams and cars.

The best way to discover this multi-cultural city is by bike or boat. You get a unique perspective of the city when seen from the water.

Please note: this is a strictly non-smoking apartment service.

Accommodation offered at several central locations in the old centre: eastern, southern and western canal area. All locations are maximum 10 minutes from the central train station by public transport.

- Payment upon arrival: cash or credit card (Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Amex).
- Payment by credit card: 4 % extra charge
- Payment by bank transfer before arrival is possible.
- Please indicate expected time of arrival at time of booking.
- Late arrival policy: EUR 25 after 21:00. EUR 25 extra every single hour after midnight (there is no 24 hour reception desk).
- Deposit: EUR 50/500 deposit per person (depending on booking).
- Rates including services: bed linens, towels.
- Please note: Silence in the house after midnight. Only one homecoming allowed after midnight.

After booking:
Please check your e-mail for a confirmation of Alexander's and check at which of the locations you have been booked. This is also the place where you will be expected to check-in. In this mail you will also find a detailed route description by public or private transport. Communicate your expected time of arrival at time of booking or at least 24 hours before arrival.
